You can't beat the location of this hotel. You're literally a set of steps from a slow sloping stretch of beach that's shallow for quite a ways out, making it perfect for smaller children. Now, this hotel is old so a lot of the furnishings are showing some wear and tear. The sink was slow to drain, and the air conditioner had a very hard time keeping the room cool. The bed was comfortable. Every interaction I had with housekeeping was a great experience. If you needed something they really tried to help. They are trying to renovate, so the restaurant was closed. The parking lot can get crowded on a sold out night.
So, this hotel is right on the beach. Ali has amazing hospitality and the entire team works hard to maintain a well enjoyable atmosphere. I will return next time with my dog. This hotel has a live music bar with music and drinks beachside and is a GREAT deal. The room was clean. We had a leak due to rain and the building being on the older side but that is to be expected and Ali immediately resolved the situation with stress free calm cool demeanor. I appreciate the stay and will look forward to coming back. There is a little store, and an indoor pool for rainy days. We had a nice stay here and my family felt safe and happy. 5 stars.
We were there for 3 days, we got the suite that was faced towards the beach . It was beautiful and quiet, my family loved it. The beach was beautiful to walk on and swim in, you need be aware a lot of trash on the beach, we helped cleaned it up during our stay. We will definitely go back, we didn’t have any problems except getting our room cleaned out in our second day and restocked towels but the housekeeper had her hands full with complaints from other rooms. We kept our rooms cleaned ourselves for the most part and got a broom to help with the sand getting everywhere and purchased extra bags for any trash we had and took it out each day to prevent any rodents. We used the bar outside a couple of days, they have a gym, and gift shop and indoor pool in the other building as well as the bar is located in the other building outside. The breakfast was coffee and a couple of pastries but nothing fancy like other hotels. We enjoyed it still.
Honestly after seeing the other reviews I was kind of hesitant however the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Me my father and my sister had three separate rooms and all three were nice and cool no issues whatsoever with air conditioning. The view from my room was beautiful. There was free water bottle refilling stations in the hotel. The indoor pool was nice but since it was inside the actual hotel it was actually pretty freezing cold water however I didn't mind after being outside in the heat. There was a hot tub which was kind of small but it was okay. My favorite part was definitely the super easy beach access from the hotel. There was also a small indoor snack bar that had ice cream, chips, candy, pickles, etc. There was also a small outdoor bar that was overlooking the beach. There was music and plenty of seats.
I don't know why the reviews are do bad i had a great experience , i love the Beach view and the pool was good , the room is clean , the services was fast, and theh had a good prices for 2 nigths, I will come back next summer
